“ Big fan of The Ivy in general. This time around I went in for the coffee with pot of cream which I've loved since Scotland... (don't ask I can't get over it). I was hosted by the Bar manager and another lovely lady who was on her bar training day. Had a wonderful time with them and then the rest of the guys at the bar also got comfortable and friendly. Wonderful service, warmth and fun altogether! I ended up ordering the whiskey smoked salmon with rye bread and a side of chips. Really delicious, light but filling dinner. Will for sure return, the ambience was lively. Additionally, I had spent the whole day walking, looked like death and was definitely not dressed for the place, yet they were all so engaging and welcoming, I loved it! In my opinion, it should be this loud more around 10 pm at least, not before that time . The food is great, and you will have a nice meal no matter what dietary you are eating. ”

Desserts were really lovely. It was a busy night atmosphere buzzing with all tables full and everyone seemed to be having a great evening enjoying the autumnal feeling. Quite a few birthdays being celebrated. Lovely decor and I love the comfortable bar area to either wait for a table or just sit and enjoy a drink and snacks which some people were doing. ”
